Stafford Gatehouse Theatre is excited to announce that comedy legend Jack Dee will be road testing his first tour in 6 years at the venue on Thursday 29 March 2012.

The dry humoured comedian has been entertaining us on our television screens for the past 6 years on shows like QI and Never Mind The Buzzcocks, 8 out of 10 Cats and Have I Got News For You.

He has been hosting Radio 4's legendary I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, co-writing and starring in four series of BBC 2's hit sitcom Lead Balloon and writing his memoirs, Thanks For Nothing, which he modestly dedicated to himself  -"Without whom none of this would have been possible".

Now, he has decided it is time to return to the stage as he wittily explains: "I want to spend less time with his family."

Stafford Gatehouse Theatres Artistic Programme Manager, Derrick Gask, has commented "Following the success of Alan Carr and Lee Evans last year, it is fantastic that Jack has chosen Stafford Gatehouse Theatre and its audience loyal to try out his new material."

Tickets for Jack Dee will go on sale on Saturday 4 February at 11.00am, with tickets costing just £15.00.
